Doing the American Jump

This blog seems to be dying a slow death, its traffic down to the merest trickle, so I thought we should try some of those new-fangled modern-type jazzmo thingies -- to wit, pitchurs! Here then, is a first attempt, celebrating the nation's birthday with a few things that are right about America. Such as Round Lick Creek, above, the stream that runs through the center of my hometown in Tennessee.

And of course, my father, left, the legendary outlaw Edsel Floyd, captured here in a rare photo by Matthew Brady.

Now if all this fancy yee-haw don't bring in the customers, I don't know what will.
